Meet Kendal Tibbets
Kendal Tibbets is from Southern Idaho. She has lived in many Idaho cities from Boise to Rexburg. She just moved from Las Vegas where she did her student teaching and then continued at the same school for 2 years in 1st grade and 2nd grade. She attended BYU-I for a degree in Early Childhood / Special Education
Miss Tibbets is the oldest of her siblings. She has a blended family with 1 sister, 1 brother, and a step- brother and sister. She and her family love pets. They have 18 altogether. She has a bearded dragon that turned one year old on May 20, 2021. She loves being outdoors and being creative. Besides school and teaching, she enjoys reading, listening and attempting to play music, creating a variety of things, playing games of any sort, riding motor vehicles, spending time with family, and watching movies. Some of her favorite things are Disney, Harry Potter, LAIKA, and The Twilight Zone.
Miss Tibbets is excited to work and learn together with fellow teachers and students at Alturas in 1st – 3rd grade! She has always enjoyed teaching children and helping them to realize their potential. It is her belief that each student has great potential that can be achieved with the partnership of a great teacher and home support. Miss Tibbets loves creating a classroom community where everyone can feel welcome, safe, and heard.
