Donna Hill has earned a BA in Elementary Education and an MA in Elementary Mathematics Instruction.
After graduating with her first degree she taught a 3rd/4th multi-age classroom in Dietrich, Idaho. Her love of travel and adventure then took her to Japan where she taught English to a variety of students for over 2.5 years. Upon returning to Idaho Mrs. Hill taught 5th grade in Shelley, Idaho, at first as a homeroom teacher and then as a math teacher.
She then moved to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) with her husband and two sons to teach 6th grade science in the Abu Dhabi Education System. After the UAE Mrs. Hill had the opportunity to teach as a 4th grade homeroom teacher at Bromsgrove Mission Hills (BMH) in Shenzhen, China. She taught at BMH for two years before deciding to move back to Idaho Falls.
In addition to living in five different countries for extended periods, Mrs. Hill has traveled to over 20 countries and territories, most with her family. She believes that having an interest in other cultures and ways of doing things is a great way to help us understand our own community, culture, and country.
Besides traveling, Mrs. Hill is also interested in photography, being outdoors, and spending time with her husband and two sons.
