Amanda DiLenge graduated highschool from a small school in the Boise valley. She was the captain of the cheerleading squad, a state FHA competitor, high school rodeo competitor and the catcher on her varsity softball team. Presently she is happily married to her best friend and they have three wonderful children. She and her family enjoy dirt biking, camping, fishing, snorkeling, and seeking out grand adventures.
Her desire to be a teacher began when she was very young, however the actual pursuit of the degree came much later in life as she and her husband decided to put family first. Amanda loved her life as a stay at home mom but, when her youngest child turned four it was time for her to achieve her next dream and get a teaching degree. She is pleased to have had the opportunity to show her children that education is important no matter how old you are or what obstacles you have to overcome. She was a full time mom, wife and student. Her dedication was clear as she finished her 4 year degree in just 3 years.
She has a passion for teaching and values all learners. It is her deepest educational belief that you never stop learning and that everyone should actively seek opportunities for growth. It is her goal to insure that each day students are gaining skills that will carry them through all of their future endeavors. For Mrs. DiLenge the classroom is a place where she can help students develop a lifelong love of learning.
