Joan Radford was born and raised in Idaho Falls and graduated from Hillcrest High School. She has been married to her husband for 18 years, and they have five beautiful children, Angelia (15), Faith (13), Isaac (11), Austin (9), and Gracie (6). As a family they enjoy hiking, fishing, four-wheeling, going to the library, and eating ice cream.
Mrs. Radford recently graduated from Campbellsville University and became a Licensed Master of Social Work in June of 2018. She has a wide range of experience working with individuals across the lifespan, and with varying experiences including crisis, developmental disabilities, and severe and persistent mental illness.
Growing up, she wanted to be either a teacher or a counselor, so she is thrilled to have the best of both as our school counselor. Most of all, she is excited to collaborate with students, parents, and staff to ensure each student gains the knowledge, skills, and attitudes which are necessary for career, social/emotional, and academic success.
