Bridget Stradling was born in Rexburg, ID. Most of her primary years of school were spent in Shelley, ID. After moving at age 15, she graduated from Salem Hills High School in Salem, UT. While in Utah she met her husband Jacob Stradling. They have been married for a little over a year and a half and together have a joyful, 8-month-old daughter named Amyria (uh-meer-ee-uh).
Mrs. Stradling’s passion for mathematics education began developing in 6th grade after overcoming many challenges with it the previous year. It never came easy to her, but as she collaborated with her fellow classmates and learned from her mistakes, her passion continued to develop and still does today.
After graduating from high school her ambition to become a math teacher continued at Snow College. While there, she was a part of the Snow College Ballroom Company where she discovered her talent and love for dancing, performing, and choreographing. She also gained a love and a passion for psychology and understanding adolescent needs and behaviors. It was there she received her Associate degree and then transferred to Utah State University. This will be Mrs. Stradling’s first year teaching and she is excited to be teaching at Alturas where students are encouraged to collaborate, discover, and learn from their mistakes.
When not in the classroom Mrs. Stradling loves cross stitching, organizing, learning, playing games and sports, singing, dancing, spending time with family, and being a mom.
